Curators:
Sofia Dati is a visual and audiovisual arts programmer at Beursschouwburg, Brussels. She previously worked at WIELS as a curatorial assistant, with a special focus on the group exhibition “Risquons-Tout” that featured a discursive programme and a publication. Sofia studied Literature at La Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, Cultural Studies at KU Leuven and Curatorial Studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Rome, and has written for the magazines Po&Sie, Arshake and Conceptual Fine Arts, among others.
EVBG is an exciting venture by Marie Sophie Beckmann and Julie Gaspard. Since 2015, EVBG has been dedicated to curious explorations of daily life and exhalations of the mind. They are committed to showing work in the space it deserves, creating an inclusive and atmospheric environment and allowing for urges to become reality. As a nomadic initiative, they have collaborated amongst others with feldfünf e.V., Berlin (2020); Efremidis Gallery, Berlin (2019); Project Space Festival Berlin (2019); PSM Gallery, Berlin (2018); spektrum - art science community, Berlin (2017); uqbar, Berlin (2019, 2017, 2016).
Suza Husse works across different fields with an interest in collaborative and performative practices, aesthetics of transformation and political imagination. Since 2012, they has been co-shaping the queer*feminist art and community space “District*School without Center” Berlin. Suza is a founding member of “The Many Headed Hydra” collective for decolonial myth making and queer publishing with an interest in aqueous ecologies. Suza co-initiated D’EST, a collaborative infrastructure and archive for video art that maps artistic forms of historiography at the intersection of postsocialist, feminist and postcolonial narratives and imaginaries, and since 2021 is member in the core team of Archive Books.
Artistic director and producer:
Bettina Knaup is a Berlin based, independent curator. She has co-curated numerous festivals and exhibitions internationally, such as the “International Festival of Contemporary Arts City of Women” (Ljubljana, 2001-2004), “performing proximities” (Beursschouwburg, Brussels, 2008) “performance platform. body affects” (Sophiensaele, Berlin, 2012) and the long term project “re.act.feminism”, which toured Europe between 2008-2013. She publishes, lectures and regularly collaborates with artists, curators and venues. Based on her recently completed PhD “performing (as) waste” at Roehampton University, London she currently develops a collaborative artistic project engaging with waste infrastructures.
